The Embassy of Egypt in Rabat hosted, on October 15th, the periodic meeting of the Group of African Ambassadors in Morocco (GAAM).
H.E. Mr. Ahmed Nehad Abdel Latif, Ambassador of Egypt, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance Egypt places on the priorities of the African continent, as well as its commitment to strengthening African cooperation and joint action.
The meeting, chaired by H.E. Mr. Mouhamadou Youssifou, Ambassador of Cameroon and Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps, examined the group’s upcoming activities and matters of common interest, notably the preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations football tournament, which will be held in Morocco, from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
