•Throughout the competition, the Senegal national team established its official base camp at the Fairmont Tazi Palace in Tangier and played all of its matches at the Grand Stade de Tanger, thus benefiting from optimal conditions fully compliant with CAF standards.
•With regard to travel to Rabat for the final, the decision to use the high-speed train (TGV) was an autonomous choice made by the Senegalese Football Federation. Furthermore, as the FSF publicly communicated the date and time of arrival of its delegation at Rabat-Agdal TGV station, this communication logically led to the presence of many Senegalese supporters at the venue, as observed upon the team’s arrival.
•The Moroccan authorities implemented a comprehensive security system, mobilizing in particular elements of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), Auxiliary Forces personnel, dedicated logistical resources, as well as the station’s usual security services. No incident, disturbance of public order, or security breach affecting members of the Senegalese delegation was recorded.
•With regard to accommodation in Rabat, the Senegalese Football Federation, like the other teams participating in the AFCON, was offered a choice between two transit hotels: Hotel Rihab, located in downtown Rabat and which had previously hosted the Tanzania (Round of 16) and Cameroon (Quarter-final) national teams during their matches against Morocco, and the Amphitrite Palace in Skhirat. The FSF exercised this choice freely by selecting the Amphitrite Palace.
•Concerning training sessions, the Mohammed VI Football Complex had initially been made available to the Senegalese national team. However, the Senegalese Football Federation decided not to use it and, on its own initiative, opted for the auxiliary pitch of the Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex, which was duly allocated to it.
•Regarding criticisms related to access to tickets for staff and players, it is important to emphasize that the Senegalese Football Federation did receive its regulatory quota of 5% of the tickets allocated for this final, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
