Morocco to Host the Inaugural International Exhibition on Ports and Their Ecosystems – SIPORTS, February 2026

A Strategic Pillar in Global Maritime Trade and a Key Platform for South-South Investment and Connectivity
El Jadida, Morocco – Affirming its role as a pivotal actor in global maritime trade and a gateway for South-South investment and connectivity, the Kingdom of Morocco will host the first edition of SIPORTS – the International Exhibition on Ports and Their Ecosystems. Held under the High Patronage of the Ministry of Equipment and Water and organized by LINECO Events, the exhibition will take place from 5 to 7 February 2026 at the Mohammed VI Complex in El Jadida.
“This initiative is in perfect harmony with the strong momentum shaping the port and maritime sectors, in accordance with the Vision of HIS MAJESTY THE KING, MAY GOD ASSIST HIM. This vision aims to establish Morocco as a key maritime hub on both the Mediterranean and Atlantic fronts. Creating a platform for dialogue among all stakeholders—alongside innovation zones and technology showcases—perfectly aligns with our shared ambition to modernize and sustainably develop our port infrastructure,” stated Mr. Nizar BARAKA, Minister of Equipment and Water.
Mr. Mohcine BERRADA, President of LINECO Events and organizer of the exhibition, added: “SIPORTS is conceived as a global crossroads for expertise and forward-looking solutions. Our ambition is to address the critical challenges of performance, connectivity, innovation, and sustainability that are reshaping the map of international maritime commerce.”
Structured around five thematic pavilions—Institutional, Port Industry, Operations, Scientific & Academic, and Ports Museum—SIPORTS will bring together over 300 exhibitors from four continents and is expected to attract 6,000 industry professionals.
An ambitious program of conferences, expert panels, keynote speeches by global leaders, and technical workshops will establish the exhibition as a strategic forum for addressing major industry transformations: the development of new maritime corridors, the emergence of smart ports, the implementation of sustainable infrastructure, and the strengthening of regional cooperation.
By facilitating high-level B2G and B2B networking and showcasing cutting-edge maritime solutions, SIPORTS aims to reinforce Morocco’s position as a leading maritime hub in Africa and on the global stage.
